BANISHED Traitors star Jasmine Boatswain has broken her silence on the show’s sexism row after getting the boot the night before the final.
Jasmine, 26, from London has branded the band of ‘murderers’ on the hit show as a “boys club” in a new interview on spin-off The Traitors: Uncloaked.

Jasmine shared her thoughts on the ongoing furore over the competition being dominated by the male contestants.
The early days of the series saw a string of women being murdered by the male-heavy group of Traitors.
When asked about her beliefs on what the show would look like with her as the Traitor, and making it to the show’s finish line, Jasmine responded: “It’s a bit of a boys club isn’t it? Men only!
“But I personally think that I would have been a good Traitor and I did actually want to be a Traitor going on there.”
Jasmine further revealed her feelings regarding the supposed double standard on the show, explaining: “[The men] have such control over the game and I think, there was a trend of Traitors being larger than life outside the roundtable and quiet in the roundtable, but I wasn’t like that, I was kind of both.
“I just broke the mould of how a Traitor would behave and I don’t think anyone would have suspected me unless your name was Zack.”
It comes as host Claudia Winkleman weighed in on the sexism row by taking a swipe at Traitors Harry and Andrew for recruiting another man into their ranks.
In one of last week’s episodes, the boys told Claudia that they were bringing Ross over to the dark side, prompting her to quip: “Another man. Good, it’s like the olden days.”
There are three remaining men – Harry, Andrew and Jaz – in tonight’s finale, alongside Evie and Mollie as the last two women standing.
While Jasmine’s hopes of winning the show has come to an end, the Coding enthusiast stopped by ITV’s Lorraine show this morning and expressed mixed feelings on the show.
Speaking about narrowly missing out on a spot in the final, she told stand-in presenter Christine Lampard: “You want to be there, you know that you’re probably not going to be there – I’m happy for everyone else though.”
The Traitor has been thrilling audiences upon its return to our screens for a second season earlier this month.
The show’s format sees several of the contestants chosen to become secret Traitors. They must work together to eliminate the other contestants, known as the Faithful, in order to win a grand prize.
In turn, the Faithful must try to expose and banish the Traitors to stop them stealing the jackpot.
- The Traitors final will air tonight, Friday 26th January, on BBC One at 9pm
